Top Northern Virginia most amazing locations for Family Sessions | Northern Virginia Family Photographer
Northern Virginia is one of the best places to photograph, and truly the top place that offers location diversity. From farms, fields, city, lakes and even WINERIES! So many choices to choose from, sometimes it can be a little overwhelming! But I’m here to save the day!
Sit back and relax, and enjoy your cup of coffee, while I tell you my top 5 favorite locations to shoot at and WHY!
Manassas Battlefield is probably my go to and all time favorite location to shoot at. I love the open field, gives you so much space and spots to shoot at. Definitely won’t disappoint. This field preserves the site of two major American Civil War battles, which is so interesting, the stone house is historic and such a beauty to see!
Next on the list is Meadowlark Botanical Gardens! This location is one of the top wedding locations to shoot at, and also amazing for family photos! The light here is just to die for, just like the one I photographed for this family session!
Stone Tower Winery is also on the list of top locations to have your wedding! The Harvest Barn is wonderful family friendly Tasting Room. The grounds of the winery is completely breathtaking. Also who doesn’t love a good place to enjoy some good wine and company!
Ida Lee Park is one of the most popular places to shoot at, not only does it hold fun activities to enjoy with the family. This beautiful location has unique spots to photograph including a barn and garden. This allows more space for the kids to run around and explore, which is my kind of jam!
This hidden gem is one of my favorite locations to shoot at during spring. If you have a green thumb then this place should definitely be on your list of places to be photographed at. This place is photogenic, easy to get to, and has plenty of parking – even on cloudy days this location brightens your day, like this family’s session.
