Beautiful Northern Virginia Outdoor Newborn Session

A couple of weeks ago I had the honor of photographing an outdoor newborn and family session for this beautiful family at their sweet home in Ashburn Virginia. During their consultation I got to learn more about what Susanna and Tres was envisioning for their session. I love the idea of capturing their family in the front of their new home. It’s a great way to capture the family and being able to reminisce on these memories later on when they no longer live at this home. They also wanted to capture some outdoor images, and this cute location was just 5 minutes down the road, how convenient to be so close by a beautiful walking trail! The lighting was beautiful and the fall foliage was definitely beaming through out the session.

With every client I highly encourage to do a consultation. It’s the best way to discuss location and outfit ideas as well as a way to get to know each other. Susanna loves the idea of posed images, where as Tres really enjoys the more lifestyle images. Combining both is what made this session SO perfect and fun! I truly enjoyed capturing their little bundle of joy Cora as well, she was so sweet and love the connection they have with her. She truly shinned in these images. Fun fact, Cora was born 4 days after my little Wyatt was born!
