Gorgeous Maternity Session at Blandy Experimental Farm in Boyce, Virginia

Maternity Photographer, I am excited to share this beautiful maternity photography session. This session was held during golden hour at Blandy Experimental Farm in Boyce Virginia. This location is completely breathtaking and there’s so many beautiful spots to photograph at you will not be disappointed.
With every client I love getting on zoom and chatting with them before they choose me to book. I think this allows us to get to know one another but also talk details about their session including location ideas! I think it’s super helpful to be able to serve my clients by being familiar with location ideas. Blandy Farm has always been on my list of locations that I wanted to photograph at I got the privilege to explore it with Hayley and Donal.
Maternity sessions are the best type of session to continue the bond you have with your spouse. I love capturing some of these sweet moments of Hayley and Donal. Their passion with each other really shined throughout the session and I loved being part of this experience with them. I also love that Hayley came prepared and brought some sentimental items to include which made it that much more special. Can’t wait to meet their little one in October.
Your maternity session also doesn’t have to include just you and your spouse. This is a perfect opportunity to involve your first child! Mr Kylo was a perfect touch to this amazing night. He did so well and I think getting out of the house was both beneficial for the parents as well as him. I love including pets during the maternity session because it also give us a chance to meet each other and it makes the newborn session that much more fun and hopefully he will remember me when I see him again.
