Hello and welcome! My name is Stacey, your local newborn photographer in Augusta, GA. I’m so excited to be sharing this sweet newborn session on the blog today. Before booking a newborn session with me, I love getting to know my clients and discussing what they’re envisioning for their session. I just adore this family and really enjoyed my time getting to know Hanna (mom). We were able to discuss some sentimental items she wanted to include in her session but also expressed how she loved the clean and simple look I provide. Adding a mix of colors and organic textures really brings out the portraits.

Babies are the ones that run the show. Although I am here to help capture your baby, following their cues will always make for a great session. When arriving to the session, if baby is ready to feed then we start with some feeding portraits. Whether you’re breastfeeding or bottle feeding, I love capturing this special moment with your baby. I also love including dads in the session if you are bottle feeding. Even the cute burping portraits are soooo adorable.

Did you know that siblings are also able to join in the fun! Brother was so excited to have a baby brother, he was the best assistant I had in the studio, and I loved every minute of it! With younger siblings I typically do their portraits with baby and family first. They tend to have a very limited attention span. Always important to keep everyone happy even older siblings!
