Sunset Outdoor Maternity Session at Oronoco Bay Park in Alexandria Virginia

Hello and welcome! I’m Stacey your Northern Virginia and Washington DC Newborn and Maternity photographer. Voted Top Washington DC Maternity Photographer, I am excited to share this beautiful maternity photography session. This session was held during golden hour at Oronoco Bay Park in Alexandria, Virginia. This location is completely breathtaking and there’s so many beautiful spots to photograph at, you will not be disappointed. If you are someone that loves water and going on an adventure then Old Town Alexandria is the spot!

During Allison’s and Seans zoom call I offered a variety of locations that would fit their needs. They both loved the idea of being by the sail boats and water in Old Town Alexandria. Old Town Alexandria offers a variety of backdrops and some nice dining options as well. I love this for my clients because after their fun and adventurous maternity session, it's nice that they can go find a local restaurant to end the night with.

Funny story, a few days after we had their maternity session, their sweet baby boy made his early entrance. I was almost done editing their session when I got the message that he arrived! This is why I always say babies come when they want to. Can't really plan for your newborn session until baby is here! So excited to share some of their sweet boy, but for now I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their maternity session.

Northern Virginia In-home Boudoir Maternity Session

This gorgeous Northern Virginia boudoir in-home maternity session is by far one of my favorite sessions to date! With these colder months coming I wanted to start offering in-home maternity sessions because why not!? The great thing about these type of sessions is you get to stay in the comfort of your own home, and its warm, so that’s a plus! It also makes your session uniquely yours which makes it more personable and fun! These sessions are great with the spouse or with out. With your fur baby or not! What ever you envision your session to be, I will be your cheerleader behind the camera capturing you and your beautiful glowing belly.

There’s something so empowering about a boudoir sessions, and I feel like it’s completely unique when its a maternity boudoir session. I, myself remember being pregnant and all I could think about was that nothing fits me, and how huge I am. Having this type of session during my pregnancy made me feel beautiful and allowed me to feel blessed during this special time.
