Loudoun County Virginia Family Photography/ Evelyn Milestone Session

I am SO excited to share this sweet Leesburg Virginia Milestone Session with you at one of my favorite locations, Ida Lee Park! ! These images reflect how much I love photographing children, especially when I get to see them grow!

Ms Evelyn has grown so much since the last time I saw her for her newborn photos! It’s amazing how much kids grow in the first year, and little Evelyn has so much personality!

I meet with all of my clients for a consultation, this allows us to break the ice and learn more about your family and what you have envisioned for the session. I love meeting my clients before hand because it makes it less awkward when doing the actual session. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about your kids and builds that trust between us! I also love learning about their personalities, this helps me when photographing them. A lot of times kids are shy being photographed, but learning what they like is a huge reason I recommend doing a consultation!

Meadowlark Botanical Garden Virginia Family Session - Navab Family

As a Virginia Family Photographer, I know the its very difficult to “pose” children. Part of the reason I call myself a lifestyle photographer is because I strive to capture beautiful, authentic photos. The best way to achieve candid moments is putting kids into their element. Kids love to explore, so bringing them to an outdoor location (which is my favorite) allows kids to explore their surroundings and spend time with mom and dad. This allows the family to have quality time together, and I’m just there soaking it all in.

The Navab family choose to have their family session at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, and I’m so happy they did because we had a blast exploring. Kimi is 9 months old in these photos, and she was so happy through out the session. By the end of the session Kimi and I were best friends!

I couldn’t have asked for a better day to photograph this lovely family and Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is definitely a location you must shoot at! One of my favorites!
