Meadowlark Botanical Gardens Family Session
As a Virginia Family Photographer, I know the its very difficult to “pose” children. Part of the reason I call myself a lifestyle photographer is because I strive to capture beautiful, authentic photos. The best way to achieve candid moments is putting kids into their element. Kids love to explore, so bringing them to an outdoor location (which is my favorite) allows kids to explore their surroundings and spend time with mom and dad. This allows the family to have quality time together, and I’m just there soaking it all in.
The Navab family choose to have their family session at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, and I’m so happy they did because we had a blast exploring. Kimi is 9 months old in these photos, and she was so happy through out the session. By the end of the session Kimi and I were best friends!
I couldn’t have asked for a better day to photograph this lovely family and Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is definitely a location you must shoot at! One of my favorites!

Stone Tower Winery Family Session - Leesburg Family Session - Northern Virginia Family Session
Part of the process of booking a family session is LOCATION. This is one of my favorite parts is deciding the perfect location to shoot at, that’s specific to your family’s needs. For the Hong family, it was Stone Tower Winery. I was SO excited to shoot at Stone Tower Winery, we got to shoot before they opened to the public which allowed us to explore the grounds of this beautiful winery with no distractions.
This was my first time meeting the Hong family, and I’m so grateful that I got to capture this beautiful family! The kids were very interested in exploring which, made the session so much fun!
I had to share that it was pretty hot out, but this family and kids were such troopers and trusted me to capture beautiful images for them! Thank you to the Hong family, I had so much fun and can’t wait to do it again!
I also wanted to point out that, we were able to explore the cellars and view parts of the winery that isn’t open to the public! So MUCH fun!
