My approach to newborn photography is very natural, simple, and meant to capture the connection between your family and new baby! During your session I will capture a mix of simple poses and candid photography. My number one goal is to provide an enjoyable experience with everyone involved.

You might be familiar with this sweet couple as I photographed their beautiful maternity session during one of our epic snow storms in Virginia. I had such a blast capturing Hannah and Brad, I knew their newborn session would be just as much fun. Sweet baby Jack did no disappointment. How adorable is he! I’m in love with his hair, and all his baby yawns.

My favorite part of In-home Newborn Photography sessions is that every home is unique. It allows me to be creative in different spaces in your home, and not one gallery is alike. Although, I have a few poses and prompts I use during my sessions, each one is completely different. I love baby Jack’s nursery especially because of the gorgeous light coming in, but his gorgeous mom took at lot of time and planning to prepare his nursery. I love all the beautiful colors and newborn details. I even spot a framed maternity session in his room which stole my heart. Baby Jack you are so loved.

I believe I captured baby Jack’s toes like a million times to be honest. I just can’t resist baby details and I know how fast babies grow, so documenting these tiny details are super important.
